The definition of abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures.
It is art that has moved away from painting objects of the perceived physical world in order to show something emotionally deeper and beyond the ordinary.
Through the path of my life experiences, I have come to the hypothesis that my images are trapped in my mind’s eye and my camera.
The constant reflection of
-Are these images a slice of my original memories?
-Are they from my subconscious? Visions that attracted me to take those photographs in the first place?
Throughout my life path and it’s myriad of emotional experiences, I always like to look beyond and free those images to abstraction. By that action I am able to free my mind beyond the role of a photographer, to the realm of poetic imagery.
My images are liberated to talk, sing and express a kaleidoscopic spectrum of visual meanings to keep my audience engaged. And as do we all, they will find their own perspectives, questions and conclusions drawn from their own life experiences, in my art.
Nature is the ultimate sublime subject to capture this poetry. Be it deserts, mountains, flowing water or frozen glaciers , the visuals are changing and forever evolving.
I have spent decades travelling to every corner of this globe, scouring it for this singular purpose; to capture its abstract intangible beauty for you.
My only desire for you when you view my art, is that you find it and feel it as well.
